Depending on the selected edition of **eXtra4winII**I, the item management offers different possibilities of data acquisition for your items.



**1.)  Basic Edition**



enables the storage of **[label texts](item_management_-_basic.md)** as well as reference texts (remarks) and a small picture for easier identification of the item.





**2.)  Advanced Edition**



Extends the item data to include all data required for an **[inventory](item_management_advanced.md)** or connection to a**[ POS system](item-management---cash-registe.md)**.



In addition, it is also possible to add high-resolution images to the item (**[image management](item-management---pictures.md)**)
