Before you create items you should think about the structure of your item numbers. Item numbers for a product, once assigned, cannot simply be changed!

 

If you already have item numbers for your products, or if you simply want to adopt the item numbers of your suppliers, nothing stands in the way.

 

However, eXtra4<winIII> contains a function that allows you to assign item numbers automatically. This functionality is based on item groups and is explained there accordingly.

 

If you have not yet defined an item number system, we recommend that you use an 8-digit item number, which only consists of numbers. (Numeric code). This item number can be printed as a simple barcode on practically any label.
